P.K. Sarpong, a popular writer with sympathies for the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), has criticized National Democratic Congress National (NDC) Communications Officer Lawyer Sammy Gyamfi over the funeral of his father-in-law held over the weekend in Kumasi.
In a Facebook post on Sunday, Mr. Sarpong said Mr. Gyamfi would have led protests if a similar funeral were held by an under-40 appointee of former President Nana Akufo-Addo with little professional history.
“Someone like Sammy Gyamfi would lead gullible foot soldiers in turning the country upside down with press conferences and insults,” he stated. Mr. Sarpong argued that Mr. Gyamfi’s reaction would have been swift and created disaffection for the government.GET FULL STORY HERE.
